This is the advanced level course in American English vocabulary. ESL 063 is a level higher than
ESL 061. This course provides instruction in acquiring academic vocabulary. Upon completion, students will
demonstrate an improvement in advanced academic vocabulary retention and usage and knowledge of advanced
vocabulary learning strategies.
