This course introduces the student to the application of surveying and drafting principles to
depict accurately a section of terrain with respect to elevations, distance, and contour lines. Topics
include cross sections, contour lines, and stadia. Upon completion, students will be able to complete a
topographical survey of a piece of property and draw a contour map of the property.
