This course covers topics and concepts related to the design of heating, ventilation,
air-conditioning, and piping systems in residential, industrial, and commercial applications. The topics
covered are the design considerations and constraints of HVAC and pipe systems, sizing, symbols, layout,
restrictions, and single and double line pipe drawings using computer-aided drafting / design software. The
student will be expected to use the design specifications to design and to draw HVAC and pipe systems.
