This course teaches foundational knowledge of nursing concepts and clinical decision making to
provide evidence-based nursing care. Content includes but is not limited to: coordinator/manager of care,
perfusion, oxygenation, infection, inflammation, tissue integrity, nutrition, elimination,
mobility/immobility, cellular regulation, acid/base balance, and fluid/electrolyte balance.
Prerequisites
NUR 112, BIO 201 and MTH 100 or higher level math
Corequisites
BIO 202, ENG 101 and PSY 210
